Founder Maria “MJ” Javier began making holiday polvoron parcels for friends. They wanted more. Today, she’s building a Filipino American specialty food brand with a flavor and personality of its own—and the belief that cultural specificity and broad appeal belong together.

What are Filipino Shortbread Bites?

Toasty Polvo® Filipino Shortbread Bites are a take on Filipino polvoron. Toasted flour, real brown butter and vanilla extract give Original Brown Butter its delicate crumble and melt-in-your-mouth finish.

How can I buy Toasty Polvo® online?

The Original Brown Butter Four-Jar Set is offered through occasional preorder releases at $60 per set. Each set contains four glass jars, with 10 bites per jar and 40 bites total. Individual jars are not sold online. Join The Toasty Dispatch to hear when the next release opens.

Is Toasty Polvo® available for cafés, hotels and retail?

Yes. Hospitality and wholesale inquiries are welcome for coffee service, retail, guest experiences and corporate hospitality. Commercial orders follow a separate inquiry process from consumer Four-Jar Set releases.
